Support Groups

Some patients find talking with others who have experienced cancer to be tremendously helpful. Support programs provide information, comfort, encouragement and emotional support to those living with cancer.

Ackerman Cancer Center's support programs are open to not just our patients, but to the broader cancer community as well. For more information on programs offered, please contact our social work department at

Due to COVID-19, until it is safe to meet in person, we are excited to offer virtual support groups for our community. These virtual support meetings are hosted by our Social Work team on a secure Zoom Virtual Meeting platform. If you are interested in attending a virtual support group, please email
